"I am disappointed with the lack of customer service at this office.
I called State Farm customer service to cancel my auto policy effective September 22nd due to switching carriers. I was told my local agent, Rain Guo, would reach out to finalize the cancellation. After waiting four days with zero response, I sent an email to the office requesting reply and still no response. I had to call the office myself since my new coverage was starting the next day.
When I finally spoke with an agent at the office, she gave me pushback. She repeatedly demanded my new GEICO policy number and pricing details—information I am under no obligation to provide just to cancel my policy. The interaction was frustrating that I had to raise my voice just to get her to process my request.
In the past, I called this office twice to ask if my premium could be reduced because of very low mileage per year, my good driving record and zero incidents, but they never made any effort to help or offer options to lower my rate.
On top of that, their maintenance of equipment is not so good, My Drive Safe & Save beacon stopped recording trips for months. I’ve had the same device for three years, but when I called to ask for a replacement, the agent dismissed my concern, claiming it showed as working on their system. I had to push and ask twice just to get them to send a replacement beacon.

Update:
I called today to get a confirmation of the cancellation, Carla was the one helps me. She is very knowledgeable and efficient, I will definitely switch over to state-farm next year."
